Soup & Scripture Returns with Gusto
An update about our nights of Soup & Scripture Ken Zaveckas
This was our first full Soup & Scripture after two years of Covid and it represented a revitalization of the program that many have attended over the years. Fr. Mitzel obtained for us our five speakers which included the return of Frs St. Hilaire, Sawicki, and Kuchinski. Deacon Tritle spoke on the fourth week followed by Fr. Schaline.
Helping in the kitchen were Sue Tharpe, her 12th year with the program, Grace Zaveckas & I (serving in our tenth year) along with Helen & Bob Defayette, and Deb Drobanek. Judging by the way of the soup, a good time was had by all. Participating & partaking of Scripture were 318 of our Parishioners who donated $1,166 to the Parish. Ten year total attendance stands at 3,668 with $10,650 being returned to the Parish. Thank you for a successful Soup & Scripture!
